Golden Eaglets Wins U-17 World Cup: Atiku Salutes The Boys

It was a pretty sensational match, especially when the Golden Boys scored only one goal at the end of the first 45 minutes. But they returned in the second half with a more determined spirit to win the trophy and indeed they made it eventually by scoring additional two goals.

At the end of 90 minutes, it was Nigeria 3 and Mexico 0. What a fantastic win. Speaking on the victory of his team immediately after the match, Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba said: "I feel great because we are the most consistent team in the competition, and even in the world at the moment."
